Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Perimeter Review in Suffolk, VA. You will provide reliable, customer-focused security at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The role features a fixed shift with six-month commitment and opportunities to earn more by taking extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations with calm problem-solving; follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and maintain restricted-area entry.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations; communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
