Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Suffolk, VA site to provide security services and customer support. This role offers reliable hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal history considered per local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and patrons by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports maintaining a professional presence.
