Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and the public by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify visitor authorization; report suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures; notify emergency services or supervisors as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and events.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation-related government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor authorization as directed, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, activities, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying emergency services and/or supervisors when required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
