Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed for Washington, DC. This flexible, reliable role offers consistent hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

The pay rate is $21.00 per hour and prior security experience is preferred. Ideal for those seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and potential to build toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Criminal background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel public areas, guest floors, entrances, parking areas, service corridors, and the property perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Maintain logs, patrol records, and incident reports and communicate with hotel management and responding personnel.
