Job summary

Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol to provide reliable coverage at an assigned site. You will perform routine security procedures, assist with access control, and respond calmly to incidents during evening and weekend shifts.

The role offers part-time hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts, a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, and a chance to gain hands-on experience in a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver's license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent shown.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols in various areas and perimeters.
• Monitor for hazards and policy violations and report observations to leadership.
• Assist with access control, incident documentation, and communication with emergency responders.
