Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Presence in Sterling, VA. This role offers reliable hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $23.18 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, and routine patrols at a technology infrastructure location. Minimum requirements apply, with potential licensing and background checks as required by law.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and according to escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and exterior access points to identify and report issues.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and needs.
