Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed at Sterling, VA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings and gain diverse site experience.

Pay rate is $23.18 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service, unarmed patrols, monitoring access points and alarms, incident reporting, and coordinating with site management. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Permitted to work in the U.S. and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and alarm/surveillance systems; document observations.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear activity reports and incident documentation for supervision and site management.
