Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Rockville, MD. You will provide customer service, perform patrols at a government facility, and respond to incidents with professional judgment. The role offers anchor shifts and a program to pick up extra shifts for additional earnings.

This is ideal for those seeking part-time hours with income stability. The position requires at least 2 years in security and a high school diploma or equivalent, with licensing preferred.

Formación

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements; report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, public-service personnel, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
