Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Enhanced) for our Hampstead, MD location. The role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, while providing reliable hours and career growth within a leading security services company.

The position pays $15.70 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus background checks and a drug screen as a condition of employment. Driving positions require a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies at a distribution/logistics facility.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain logs of incidents.
• Deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and reporting hazards.
