Allied Universal in Arlington, VA seeks a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide dependable, flexible hours including fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts. The role is unarmed, with a strong focus on customer service, access control, and incident response at a corporate technology site.

Pay is $21.75 per hour with schedules designed for part-time flexibility. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass background and drug

Formación

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out site specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and support adherence to established entry and escort procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.
