Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Enhanced Security Officer in Point Comfort, TX. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, providing flexibility and income stability.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. This position emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable coverage, with growth opportunities through training and our perks program.

Qualifications

• TWIC card issued by TSA.
• State/local security license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials and authorizations.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue/recover badges, and report discrepancies or security concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related conditions.
