Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Verification in Point Comfort, TX. The role offers fixed-anchor evening shifts with optional extra shifts through the scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with a six-month anchor commitment at a designated site and opportunities to pick up additional shifts at multiple sites. Great for flexible, income-stable part-time work.

Qualifications

• TWIC issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration).
• State/city security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local rules.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations to site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to identify unauthorized activity or security concerns.
• Support compliance with site access requirements by screening deliveries and contractors, documenting activity, and reporting irregularities.
