Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Verification in Point Comfort, TX. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with a fixed shift and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

The position pays $15.00 per hour with a 6-month anchor shift commitment and a path to greater hours as needed. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and be prepared for background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required or preferred depending on site.
• Licensing requirements vary by state or locality.
• A background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities at the site.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, and maintaining records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and inform site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Screen deliveries and contractors to ensure compliance with site access requirements.
