Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Omaha, NE to provide reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site and to earn more by picking up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The role includes delivering customer service to employees and visitors, conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and maintaining shift documentation, with opportunities to scale to up to 40 hours

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and shift documentation.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
