Job summary

Allied Universal in Omaha, NE is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site. This role supports a dynamic, professional workplace and offers opportunities to earn more through additional shifts.

Pay rate is $18.54 per hour with a fixed anchor shift and optional pick-up shifts. Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling, and delivering customer-service focused protection within a technology-focused office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen as required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and shift documentation.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
