Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen as required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and shift documentation.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Omaha, NE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
