Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Crete, NE. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional pick-up shifts through our platform, paying $18.50 per hour and providing opportunities to scale hours up to 40 per week.

This position emphasizes reliable scheduling, customer service, and vigilant security at a food and beverage manufacturing location.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with computers/tablets preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, authorizations, deliveries, and visitor/contractor entry.
• Maintain accurate access-related records, including visitor logs and incident reports, per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
