Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Days Part-Time in Mesa, AZ to protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom environments and more. You’ll provide customer service, deter incidents, and operate within site procedures to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

You’ll perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms calmly while communicating with site leadership and contacts. This role offers flexible weekend shifts and a path to growth within a leading security services

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card/License is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
Drug screen as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures.
Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Document daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings and communicate with leadership.
