Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Weekend Monitoring in Mesa, AZ. This part-time role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and ensuring safety at a technology, media, and telecom site.

You will provide customer service, respond to incidents, monitor access, and document activities. A Guard Card or license is preferred, with 18+ to apply; background checks and drug screening are required by policy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner with clear communication to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate incident and patrol records.
• Support a professional workplace by guiding visitors and reporting maintenance or security issues through established channels.
