Job summary

Allied Universal in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part-Time to provide dependable coverage at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts. The role features fixed anchor shifts and a six‑month commitment, with potential to scale to a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with directions and escorts as assigned.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols and incidents.
