Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Jacksonville, FL. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. You’ll perform security patrols, manage access points, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be capable of lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, and keep logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with staff and visitors and escalate concerns through proper channels.
