Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Presence in Jacksonville, FL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.73 per hour, with a schedule on Saturdays 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The position supports part-time hours with potential growth and training opportunities within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify contacts or responders.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports; report hazards or suspicious activity.
