Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Jacksonville, FL. This role offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with flexibility to pick up additional shifts and earn more through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
