Job summary

Allied Universal in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Perimeter Patrol. This role offers fixed evening hours with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts, and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. You’ll contribute to site security, follow procedures, and support a safe, orderly environment.

Minimum 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and successful background and drug screenings are required. This position is on-site with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen are required as a condition of employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor entry requirements.
• Report hazards and security concerns per site procedures.
