Job summary

Allied Universal® in Elkton, MD seeks a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Driver. You will patrol and monitor facilities, assist employees and visitors, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license; prior security or customer service experience is preferred. This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.
• State/local licensing rules may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per post orders.
• Communicate security concerns with site personnel and leadership.
