Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Screening in Atlanta, GA. The role offers reliable hours at a financial-institution site with the option to pick up extra shifts. Pay rate is $19.64 per hour, with a fixed shift and an Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings.

The position supports a part-time work arrangement with the potential to scale hours up to 40 weekly, while maintaining flexibility. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a front desk location within a financial institution setting while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals in accordance with established site procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, alarms, cameras, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as assigned.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
