Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Atlanta, GA to provide reliable, unarmed security services at government locations. This role offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and the potential to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, assist visitors and employees, and respond calmly to incidents while following site procedures. Pay rate is $17.50 per hour with opportunities to grow through scheduling programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly, escalate as needed.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe entry/exit activity per procedures.
• Document incidents and communicate to site contacts and leadership.
