Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Atlanta, GA. The role offers flexible, reliable hours at a designated site, with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform armed patrols, respond to alarms, and maintain logs, with a six-month anchor shift and potential to grow toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Armed roles require at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as condition of employment.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized access per site procedures.
• Complete and file activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately.
