Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is hiring Security Officers in Michigan. This part-time role emphasizes customer service and vigilant security across client sites. Shifts run Thursday through Saturday, with flexibility to possibly reach up to 39 hours weekly.

The position is not armed; weapons are not permitted on premises. Training and compliance with company policies are required. Responsibilities include checking IDs, patrolling premises, reporting incidents, and maintaining a professional presence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at time of hire and periodically.
• Must not have felonies or disqualifying charges per policy.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8–12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must fluently read/write/speak/understand English.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: reflect the company professionally by assisting clients, staff, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and Report: stay alert for suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence: maintain professional appearance and be on guard in lobbies, reception areas, and control centers.
• Foot/vehicle patrols: perform duties as assigned at your location.
• Access Control: check IDs and ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Emergency Response: assist in emergencies and communicate with responders per SOPs.
• Security Liaison: maintain communications with client staff and site supervisor.
