Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer in Michigan for a seasonal full-time role with shifts 1300-2100, Mon-Fri. The position pays $21.22 per hour and is not armed.

Responsibilities include guarding posts, patrolling grounds, and ensuring only authorized individuals access restricted areas. As a security professional, you will deliver excellent customer service, document incidents, and follow site-specific post guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must adhere to Uniform and Appearance policy and present a friendly, professional image.
• Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Guard posts at entry/exit points of client buildings and grounds.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols to maintain safety and security.
• Check identifications for employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Look for suspicious people, packages, and activities and report incidents.
• Document daily activities and follow site post guidelines.
