Job summary

DK Security in Michigan is seeking Security Officers to protect client properties. Shifts vary across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and are non-armed positions.

You will provide customer service, observe and report incidents, manage access control, and conduct patrols to maintain a safe environment. CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• No armed security position; weapons are not permitted on site.
• Must pass a drug screening and meet federal marijuana policies.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: be a positive reflection of the company and assist staff, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and Report: stay alert and report suspicious activities or incidents.
• Security Presence: maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in lobbies and reception areas.
• Security Officer: perform foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.
• Access Control: ensure only authorized persons enter restricted areas.
• Safety Patrol: maintain a safe environment and enforce site policies.
• Emergency Response: assist in emergencies and perform CPR/First Aid/AED as needed.
• Security Liaison: communicate with client staff and keep the site supervisor updated.
• Other duties as assigned.
