Job summary

DK Security, a Michigan security provider, is hiring a part-time Security Officer to protect client properties. You will perform duties including customer service, observation/reports, security presence, patrols, access control, and emergency response.

Must meet entry requirements and be able to work 8–12 hour shifts. This position offers $18.00 per hour, requires a high school diploma or GED, and requires passing a drug screen with a continued compliance to federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass a drug screening at hire and random testing.
• No felonies or disqualifying misdemeanors related to dishonesty or weapons.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and professional conduct on site.
• Observe, report, and respond to incidents and suspicious activity.
• Maintain security presence in lobbies, reception areas, and control centers.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols and monitor access control.
• Assist in emergencies and coordinate with responders as needed.
