Job summary

Allied Universal in Battleboro, NC is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time to provide customer service, access control, and routine patrols at an industrial site.

This role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour; employees may pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings while maintaining flexibility. Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with access-control procedures and badge systems.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, log visitors, and direct authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and per established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities and inform leadership.
