Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced (Part Time) in Battleboro, NC. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You will provide access control, patrol facilities, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to established protocols.
• Document patrols and security activities and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.
