Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Honolulu, HI. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, while maintaining part-time hours and potential progression to full-time.

Pay is $29.00 per hour, with a six-month anchor commitment at a designated site. Responsibilities include protecting personnel and assets, responding to incidents, patrolling areas, monitoring access, and reporting hazards per site

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense-related project location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, offices, laydown yards, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and follow site procedures for deliveries and restricted areas.
• Observe and report hazards, suspicious activity, damaged barriers, unsecured doors, and other conditions requiring attention in accordance with site policies.
