Allied Universal® in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting. The role offers reliable fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $23.00 per hour. The position supports part-time hours with potential for more as schedules allow, and requires a background check and drug screening in compliance with laws.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations following site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and property management as directed.
