Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at its Corporate Bank Headquarters in New York, NY. The role focuses on client service, routine security checks, and responsive incident handling in a financial institution environment. Position Type: Part Time.

Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM and Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.

Qualifications

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
Criminal histories may be considered with applicable laws.
Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior/exterior areas and perimeters.
Monitor access, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with procedures.
