Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Corporate Financial Institution in New York, NY. This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position provides reliable hours and opportunities to earn more while maintaining work-life balance. The role requires a NY Security Guard License, at least 1 year in security, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per law; criminal histories considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local regulations.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution following security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and direct people as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations using established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the site, reporting unusual conditions.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.
