Allied Universal is seeking a part‑time Security Officer – Bank Headquarters in New York, NY. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with additional shift options through our scheduling platform, providing reliable hours and opportunities to earn more.

Pay rate is $19.59 per hour. Ideal candidates have NYS Security Guard License and at least 1 year of security experience, with a path to full‑time growth through paid training programs.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Security Guard License.
• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution while following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization; maintain logs/reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior/exterior areas to identify hazards and security concerns.
• Assist in protecting confidential information and restricted locations by following procedures for access, deliveries, keys.
