Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for an Investment Firm Headquarters in New York. You will provide security services, patrol the financial services site, monitor access, and maintain clear communication with the team to deter incidents and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and elevate concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial services location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
