Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced. This position offers flexible, dependable hours at an assigned site with the option to earn more by taking on additional shifts.

The role includes biometric access verification for a food and beverage manufacturing location with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges and maintain access-related logs.
• Screen and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate areas while supporting controlled access to production, warehouse, and office spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and report security concerns.
