Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Biometric Access Verification in Cleveland, OH to provide reliable access control and customer service at a food and beverage manufacturing site. The role offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform.

Earn $16.50 per hour with part-time hours designed for income stability and potential progression toward fuller schedules.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
• Screen and direct incoming visitors, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate areas while supporting controlled access to production, warehouse, and office spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, perimeter locations, parking areas, and access points, and report observed security-related concerns.
