Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Entry Authorization) in Cleveland, OH. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors and vendors.

Position is part-time with a schedule including DayTime, Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Expect customer service focus and vigilant security presence throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, logs, and direct authorized individuals to areas.
• Deter unauthorized access by observing systems and reporting irregularities.
• Respond calmly to incidents including alarms and security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter locations and report maintenance or security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing access-control systems, reporting irregularities, and following established escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access-related concerns, alarms, and emergency notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations, while documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
