Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges and maintain access-related logs.
• Screen and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate areas while supporting controlled access to production, warehouse, and office spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and report security concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Biometric Access Verification in Cleveland, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access‑related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen and direct incoming visitors, vendors, and commercial deliveries to appropriate areas while supporting controlled access to production, warehouse, and office spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, perimeter locations, parking areas, and access points, and report observed security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
