Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol in Cary, NC. You will provide security for school environments, patrol facilities, monitor alarms, and engage with students, staff and visitors, delivering professional customer service.

The role offers flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates have security experience, prefer customer service, and are at least 18 (21 for armed) with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors per school policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare reports and maintain communication with personnel and leadership.
