Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a security guard in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves patrolling client sites to protect property and personnel, observing for irregularities, and reporting findings.

The shift runs Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a starting pay of 18 USD per hour. Candidates must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a NJ SORA license, and be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma / GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday to Thursday 11-7am

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.
