Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations calmly, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions and reporting maintenance or security concerns.
