Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer/Vehicle Patrol Driver in Santa Clara, CA. You will provide customer service, monitor access, conduct patrols, and maintain security procedures at a technology-focused location.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, eligibility for background checks, and the ability to work a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required under applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
