Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Santa Cruz, CA. You will patrol retail locations, provide outstanding customer service, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

Position is part-time with a pay rate of $19.01 per hour. You may work day or night shifts with a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard Card/License preferred and required where applicable by state law.
• Background check and drug screening as part of employment process.
• Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles where applicable.
• Licensing may be required by state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees and visitors per site procedures.
• Occasionally assist with access control and maintaining an orderly environment.
• Conduct regular foot patrols and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Participate in routine site operations during high-traffic periods.
