Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) and able to pass background checks.
• Criminal history considered per law; drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, exterior grounds, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Verify credentials and manage visitor and contractor entry procedures, documenting access-related activity per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security events using reporting systems.
